What to Watch For

Signs You Need Insurance Claim Assistance in Denver

At 5,280 feet, Denver's UV runs 25% more intense than at sea level. Combine that with 300 sunny days, winter humidity as low as 14%, and daily temperature swings of 70°F, and you have a climate that tests every painted surface.

01

Peeling & Cracking

Paint peeling near windows and drywall nail pops are Denver's calling card. Dramatic temperature swings cause wood framing to expand and contract, popping nails and opening hairline cracks behind the paint film.

02

Water Stains & Moisture

Ceiling water stains from roof ice dams are common in Denver winters. When moisture penetrates behind paint, it creates conditions for mold and structural degradation that a fresh coat alone won't fix.

03

Fading & Yellowing

South-facing walls take the hardest hit from high-altitude UV. Surfaces that look manageable in October can fail significantly by March. If you see discoloration or soft texture, call before you schedule. You may need surface remediation first.

Common Questions

Insurance Claim Assistance
FAQ

Can't find the answer? Get in touch and we'll respond within 30 minutes.

Is a public adjuster the same as an insurance adjuster?

No. Insurance adjusters work for the insurer and protect their bottom line. Public adjusters are state-licensed to represent the homeowner and negotiate on your behalf. Our principal, Christian Romero Arias, is a licensed public adjuster. That is the whole reason we can fight for the entire roof rather than just the part the carrier wants to fix.

Will filing a claim raise my premium?

North Carolina does not allow insurers to raise rates solely for filing a weather-related claim. South Carolina rules differ by carrier and we will explain your specific situation before filing. Multiple claims in a short window can affect your policy in either state. We review your claim history with you before we file so there are no surprises. Filing one valid hail claim is almost always financially worth it.

What does it cost me?

You pay your deductible on a covered claim. There is no separate adjuster fee to you when we also perform the replacement. If your claim is denied we still hand back the documentation at no cost. Non-replacement adjuster consulting is priced separately and disclosed up front. In the standard path, out-of-pocket is just your deductible.

What if my claim is denied?

We appeal. Our documentation is built for supplements and reopens from the start, not bolted on at the end. We have successfully reopened denied claims with proper evidence across both NC and SC carriers. Appeals typically add two to six weeks to the timeline. You keep us on the claim at no extra cost as long as we are also performing the work.

Do you work in both North Carolina and South Carolina?

Yes. We file and negotiate claims with NC and SC carriers, including York County SC communities like Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, and Lake Wylie. State rules differ so we handle paperwork specific to each. Your adjuster on the claim will be the same person from filing to final payment. One team, both states.
